What this is

Male Grooming Journal is a UK zine about men's skin and hair. It is not a shop, a review site or a list of the best twelve of anything. Every piece here works the same way: what is actually happening in the skin, what the evidence supports, and what to do about it on a Tuesday morning.

01

By ingredient, never by brand

Formulations change every year. Glycerin does not. We write about what should be in the bottle, not which bottle to buy.

02

Mechanism before advice

If you understand why a hair grows back into your neck, you can solve it yourself and keep solving it for thirty years.

03

Evidence, graded plainly

Strong evidence is called strong. Thin evidence is called thin. Where nobody knows, we write that down instead of filling the gap.

04

Nothing to sell you

No affiliate commission, no sponsored articles, no samples, no paid placement. The editorial policy sets it out in full.

Nothing to sell, something to say

An email when an article changes materially, when UK guidance shifts, or when a new feature lands. That is the whole scope of it. No product recommendations, because we do not make any.

We store your address to send those updates and nothing else. Ask us to delete it whenever you like.
